All we can say is that Matthew Rossi, player of two shamans, is incredibly bent in the head and has weird notions about this 'internet' thing he hears people talk about while he's chowing down on some tasty gruel from his cave in the heart of the taiga.

Recently some of the folks behind the scenes here at WoW Insider have been piqued to start their own shamans. This led to a discussion about how best to level as a shaman (enhancement! enhancement oh sweet lord roll enhancement! It's the best thing ever!) which of course I and others answered with our usual cool detachment. (Enhancement!) This then led to a discussion of the old saw among shaman players that while grinding you shouldn't drop totems.

This was an old saw I hadn't heard. I believe I actually sputtered when I read it. Let's recreate the moment.

Druids, they can control the physical makeup of their body, and according to the WoW RPG, at level 20 they actually become immortal. As in, "don't age, reincarnate when you die" immortal.

Of the many different character classes in WOW, each having a different accepted role, there is one lauded as superior by those who play them, and scoffed at by those around them. There are a few responsibilities that must be filled for a group of adventurers to succeed in a dungeon. There must be a "tank", someone who gets the attention of the monsters they are attempting to kill. A healer is important to keep the group alive. There are damage dealers who are primarily responsible for slaying the monsters in melee or from a distance. Characters in charge of crowd control stall certain targets to make taking down others easier.

Enlarge ImageWorld of Warcraft is by far the best and largest MMORPG out yet. World of Warcraft follows a long history of the original strategy game warcraft. There were 3 popular titles that were released previously that were also an extremely big hit. Warcraft, Warcraft II, Warcraft III and the 2 expansions "The Frozen Throne" and "Reign of Chaos". The release date of the game was on Nov 23, 2004. A year after its release and there are about 4.5 million subscribers and still growing stronger each day world wide.

So we were running Kara last night and only had time for a couple of the bosses. Downed Curator in one shot with myself and a holy priest healing. What was interesting is that we would wipe on regular mobs with 2 druid tanks ALOT. The MT is geared pretty well, but thought he was rushing through the instance a little too much by trying to cycle through pulls then run up and pull again. We got him to calm down a little. Ok now I am getting off topic...
