WoW Insider reported that the presumed gold cap limit, the sum of 214,748 gold, 36 silver and 48 copper, was achieved last week by two of the top clan leaders:

I got it on my last BM run. After I finished the instance, I went to test it and in about 30 mins I never seen it to proc. I started to melee the mobs and I got it to proc twice. I know some hunter swear by this trinket, but too me it does not look like it is hunter’s trinket at all. BTW – my crit rate is a little over 29% so I should be seeing it proc quit often. Can some hunter please verify if this trinket proc’s on range or melee only. – if it is melee only, I guess I will be dumping it quicker then I got it.
